Why Would Anyone Willingly Buy Wrinkle Cream?

Guest Author: Sean Saunders

You know as well as everyone else that companies and retailers give away free things all the time. In light of that fact, it should be of no surprise then to find out that some cosmetic companies are willing to give you wrinkle cream for free. That’s right, you don’t have to buy wrinkle cream, you can get it absolutely free. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? Well, in a in very real way, it is.

When these companies use the term “free”, they usually have a bit of fine print added to the offer. Typically, this means you won’t be receiving an unlimited supply of the wrinkle cream — you’ll only get enough to provide you with a small taste of what you “could” be using.

Does this mean the free offer is a scam? No, not at all; it simply means it’s not as “wonderful” as you first thought it was — However, the situation remains the same, as you still need to take advantage of the offer in order to find an anti wrinkle skin cream that is right for you. How do you do that? Basically, you just follow their rules & do as they ask. As long as you comply with their requests & are honest with the necessary transactions, they will be all the more happy to do business with you.

Find as many wrinkle cream “free trial” offers as possible and start signing up — Not all at once, mind you, but slowly over time. With a constant string of wrinkle cream trial offers at your disposal, you won’t have to spend a fortune testing all the different wrinkle creams that are out on the market. Why? Because only the best of the best of anti wrinkle creams are offered on trial basis; meaning you’ve already got the cream-of-the-crop identified for you. Having said that, the trial & error part of finding an effective wrinkle cream should be entirely easy & inexpensive. Honestly, what more could a wrinkle sufferer ask for?

Secrets That Make the Best Anti-Aging Skin Creams Work

Guest Author: Dr. Valerie Rosenbaum

Where do you find the best anti-aging skin creams? For the safest and most effective anti-aging skin cream, skip the department store, don’t buy something you see on television and forget the ads in the magazines that you read.

In order to afford all of that advertising and marketing, cosmetic companies skimp on safety and effectiveness. The major manufacturers refuse to confront the issues that have been put before them by researchers and scientists.

In order to qualify as the best anti-aging skin creams, the ingredients should not include perfumes, preservatives or petrolatum, but that leaves out about 99% of the cosmetics on the market today. You might wonder what’s wrong with those ingredients.

Perfume smells nice. All of the commercials say that it makes you more attractive. A dab on the wrist or behind the ears is fine, but for your skin’s health, you should not buy any anti-aging skin cream that lists “fragrance” as an ingredient.

First, of all, it is the most common cause of allergic and adverse reactions. Second, the term “fragrance” could mean any one of a thousand different synthetic chemicals. Most of them are toxic. Some of them cause cancer. And, there is no way to tell which one the company used.

One more problem with scents is that the nose or the olfactory system leads to the central nervous system. Certain fragrances can cause feelings of depression, anxiety, nervousness or agitation. The best anti-aging skin creams are fragrance-free.

Preservatives are the second most common cause of allergies, irritation and itching. An anti-aging skin cream might contain mercury based preservatives or parabens. Mercury is a toxic heavy metal. Parabens have been linked to cancer. I recently reviewed the ingredients of one anti-aging skin cream and it contained four different parabens.

Preservatives would be unnecessary if companies would use natural vitamin E. The best anti-aging skin creams use natural vitamin E to provide better results and to prolong the shelf life of their products.

Petrolatum is the most common based cream used by cosmetic companies. It is supposed to moisturize, but it cannot be absorbed by the pores, so it causes greasiness. It is counterproductive in an anti-aging skin cream, because it inhibits the natural rejuvenation process.

Mineral oils may sound nice, unless you know that they are simply liquid petrolatum. They are byproducts of the process used to convert crude oil to gasoline. Personally, I am not sure why anyone ever thought that would be good for your skin’s health.

The best anti-aging skin creams contain plant oils that are very similar to the skin’s own sebum. For example, grape seed, olive and jojoba oils are all very similar. They are naturally moisturizing and have been shown to reduce the signs of aging.

In order to be effective, an anti-aging skin cream should increase production of new cells and fibers. When we are young, the production is very quick, but the process slows with age. Many nutrients required for rejuvenation do not reach the outermost of the skin’s levels.

So, in order to slow down the aging process, we need to apply those nutrients directly. The best anti-aging skin creams contain those nutrients. You can look younger, without destroying your skin’s health, if you choose the right products.

Learn How to Buy Wrinkle Cream

Beauty experts rarely agree on the highest rated wrinkle cream, in terms of effectiveness. They usually recommend that you buy wrinkle cream that they themselves have created or from the company that employs them. It just makes sense.

Public safety groups recommend that you carefully evaluate the ingredients before you buy even the highest rated wrinkle cream. There is no “real” rating system. If you buy wrinkle cream simply because a group of consumers recommends it, you may end up with a terrible negative reaction.

I have read hundred of consumer reviews. The stories are sad and frightening. People who did not have sensitive skin, who never had reason to shop for safety or learn about the ingredients to avoid, have ended up with permanent detrimental changes in their appearance.

The major cosmetic companies use hundreds of known allergens and irritants. Parabens, added fragrances, thimerosal, BHT, artificial dies and colors are just some of them. They are not required to check individual ingredients for contamination. So, you may be using something that contains benzene, a known carcinogen and that’s just one example.

It’s really hard to read those labels. Even safe ingredients have chemical names that may be unrecognizable. Tocopherol, for example, is vitamin E. The best way to buy wrinkle cream, without carrying around a chemical dictionary, is to shop only for products that are free of artificial preservatives and fragrances.

Look for ones that contain plant or vegetable, rather than mineral oils or petrolatum. Avon sells a highest rated wrinkle cream, according to consumer reviews. But, the company has always relied on petrolatum to provide moisture, even though it is not actually moisturizing.

Petrolatum and other petroleum based oils are not absorbed by the pores. They actually block them, causing pimples and other types of irritation. They might feel better initially, but in a few hours time, there is no noticeable improvement.

When you go to buy wrinkle cream, look for ingredients like grape seed oil. It’s highly compatible with the skin’s natural oil; sebum. It dries to a lightweight invisible film that locks in moisture.

The highest rated wrinkle cream in my book is one that combines grape seed oil with other antioxidants and a compound called Functional Keratin. It has been shown to increase the moisture content of the skin by 27%. 24 hours later, the moisture level is still 22% higher than it was before treatment.

Most of us buy wrinkle cream to help restore firmness. Creams containing functional keratin have been shown to increase firmness by 44% in less than 30 days. Now, that’s effective.

Most companies make their claims without supportive clinical evidence. To improve firmness, most companies rely on urea, a waste product, the primary component of urine. Many companies do not name the source of the urea that they use. It’s only recommended use is to remove dead skin from the feet.

If you’re like me, you want the highest rated wrinkle cream according to researchers and dermatologists. Just don’t rely on the advertising hype.

Anti Aging Skin Care Creams – the Real Truth

anti-wrinkle
Guest Author: Rachel Hammond

If a company really has the best anti-aging skin creams, it should have documented research to back up its claims.  If a company is going to charge hundreds of dollars for an anti-aging skin cream, they should be willing to fully disclose the ingredients, rather than using proprietary names.  If you’re like me, you want to know what’s really in there, before you buy.

I’ve spent years evaluating different products, so that I could help people learn how to find the best anti-aging skin creams.  I got started after reading several reviews from women who had serious adverse reactions.  One woman’s face was permanently disfigured by an anti-aging skin cream and I am sure that she is not alone.

You see, cosmetic companies are allowed to use practically anything in their products, especially if the manufacturer is located in specific countries.  The US, for example, has very few regulations regarding the ingredients or complete disclosure of them.  The EU has better standards and has banned many unsafe ingredients, which are still being used by US companies.

Sodium methyl paraben, for example, is banned by the EU, because it has de-pigmenting effects.  In other words, it causes the appearance of lighter spots on the skin’s surface.  Not only is this a problem for your appearance, it also makes the skin more sensitive to UV rays from the sun.  Companies in the US are still allowed to use the ingredient.

The most popular ingredients for anti-aging skin cream are sunscreens.  You will see a number of creams and lotions, meant for daily use, that have SPF ratings ranging has high as 20.  If you buy a product with an SPF rating, make sure that the sun-screening compound is not oxybenzone or benzophenone.  They are derivatives of benzene, a known carcinogen.  They have been shown in scientific studies to damage DNA strands, when the cells are exposed to UV rays from the sun, which makes them probably carcinogens.  The evidence was published over two years ago, but the ingredients are still be used.

The best anti-aging skin creams do not have an SPF rating.  It is not safe to rely on an anti-aging skin cream to prevent sun damage or skin cancer.  Use common sense in the sun and wear protective clothing.  Use a zinc oxide sun-block, on exposed areas, when you expect to be outside for extended periods of time.  When the use of sunscreens became popular, they were rushed to the market, without first being fully evaluated for safety.

The best anti-aging skin creams for the body do contain vitamin B5, because it enhances the natural tanning processes.  The ingredient is recommended for men to use on their faces on a daily basis, as it is also a natural anti-inflammatory and men tend to have problems with inflammation, due primarily to shaving.

When you are shopping for an anti-aging skin cream, there are many ingredients to look for, including wakame kelp.  The best anti-aging skin creams are safe and natural.  Just be sure to do a little research, before you buy.
