Resveratrol Rebuilds Heart Cells-Fact Or Fiction?

One of the many things that some companies are now saying is that resveratrol rebuilds heart cells. However, although it is shown to be good for your heart, can it actually rebuild the cells?

From all the research I have seen, it seems it is an unproven claim. Tests have been carried out on mice and have a way to go yet before a claim that resveratrol rebuilds heart cells can be substantiated.

That being said, it can be extremely good for your heart, as the French Paradox shows. This is whereby the French consume a lot of resveratrol rich red wine and have a lower instance of heart disease than Americans, even though their diet is similarly high in fat.

Research has shown that resveratrol is an anti inflammatory and can prevent fatty deposits building up in the arteries which can lead to a heart attack or stroke.

Experts have also found that it can lower your bad (LDL) cholesterol due to its powerful antioxidant properties. So it positively helps your heart, but not in the way some claim.

I think the most interesting attribute is that it is being hailed as one of the most powerful substances ever found to reverse the signs of aging, and perhaps even increasing our lifespan.

So even if the claim that resveratrol rebuilds heart cells isn’t accurate, this wonder nutrient has many other incredible properties as you can see. I’m sure the list will increase with time!

Experts agree to get the maximum benefit you should not drink excessive amounts of red wine but to take it in a combined health supplement.

If you take it with other nutrients, when these ingredients are put together they create synergy, which means you get the direct benefits of each nutrient and the benefits from their interaction with one another.

Most manufacturers don’t put a special coating on the pill, so much is lost due to the actions of stomach acid, and so even if resveratrol rebuilds heart cells, you wouldn’t get the benefit unless it reached the bloodstream.

Resveratrol Dosage Information And How To Get It Right

Many people are now asking for resveratrol dosage information, as more and more is discovered about this wonder nutrient, and what it can do. So is there a right amount to take and how should you take it?

As you may well know, resveratrol has been proven to fight cancer at all stages, lower cholesterol levels, protect against heart disease and even extend our lives, so resveratrol dosage information and more importantly, the way we take it, are crucial.

Many companies out there are claiming you should take over 200mg a day, and this is primarily to sell weight loss pills. There is no evidence to suggest such high doses will work, and the most fundamental factor about this is delivery.
